PLAN YOUR VISIT

Getting around wine country

Choose a designated driver or book transport in advance, including the journey home.

A designated driver

Choose someone who will not be tasting to drive. Keep stops in one area and allow time for country roads, parking and a meal.

Book a driver or tour

Confirm your route, group size and accessibility needs with the provider. Ask what is included, whether venue reservations are arranged and how changes are handled.

Cork and Keg Tours ↗

Private wine and brewery tours with dedicated transportation. Ask about arrangements for your group and route.

Vineyard Voyages ↗

Shared scheduled wine tours and private group options. Check the pickup arrangements and itinerary for the option you choose.

Using a taxi

Confirm collection from the specific rural venue at your return time, plus the fare and waiting arrangements. A ride out does not guarantee a ride back.

Loudoun County transportation providers ↗

Arrange transport directly with the provider. A VWE visit plan does not book a ride or confirm availability.
